What Is Haynes 230?
Haynes 230 (UNS N06230) is a nickel-based superalloy with outstanding strength and oxidation resistance at very high temperatures. It is used in gas turbine components, aerospace hardware, industrial furnaces, heat-treatment equipment and other parts that must work continuously in heat that ordinary metals cannot survive.
Why Haynes 230 Parts Are Hard to Source
Work Hardening
Nickel alloys work-harden rapidly; the wrong cutting parameters harden the surface and destroy tooling in minutes.
Heat Concentrates at the Tool
Low thermal conductivity means heat builds at the cutting edge instead of leaving with the chip — tooling and speeds must come from real experience.
Process Choice Matters
Some geometries are better cut by wire cut EDM, which is unaffected by material hardness. With every process under one roof, we choose what suits your drawing.

No — we supply the material. Because we machine Haynes 230 in regular production, we have established sourcing channels ready to go. Just send your drawing and quantity.
Do you provide measurement reports?
Yes, with every lot — and a full VMS report is available on request.
