Technic Enterprise & Technology provides wire cut EDM services on Charmilles machines, cutting hardened steel, tungsten carbide and any conductive metal. Because there is no cutting force on the workpiece, hardened or thin parts are cut without distortion, with tolerances down to ±0.002 mm on defined processes. Prototype work is welcome. Cuts Hardened Material Directly
Spark erosion is independent of material hardness — hardened SKD11 or carbide is cut as-is, avoiding distortion problems from machining before heat treatment.

Ideal for thin parts, small components and complex profiles with sharp internal corners that conventional tools cannot reach or would deform.
Consistent, High-Quality Cuts
Surface finish and dimensions stay consistent across the lot. Critical dimensions are verified with instruments reading to 0.001 mm, with a report for every lot.

Wire Cut EDM FAQ
What materials can you cut?
Any electrically conductive material — tool steel, stainless, carbide, copper and superalloys. Non-conductive materials such as plastics are machined by turning and milling instead.
Can you cut parts that are already hardened?
Yes — that is the core strength of the process. Material hardness does not affect the cut.
How is wire cut different from sinker EDM?
Wire cut uses a wire to cut through-profiles with high accuracy; sinker EDM uses a shaped electrode to erode cavities and blind features. We run both processes in the same factory.
